As DJ Heartbeat, Lloyd has been a popular and highly regarded DJ at a variety of events in and around the Bay area for over a decade. Before moving to Marin County in 1985, he was a DJ in Colorado at a variety of dances & events. Lloyd has hosted and organized ongoing DJ series at the Larkspur Café Theater, World Dance & Fitness in San Anselmo, at Rudramandir in Berkeley and elsewhere. He occasionally DJs at the Groove Garden in Fairfax for the "chill space".
